An officer was slightly injured after being hit by a vehicle while blocking the intersection of Itzhak Reger Boulevard on Tuesday evening in Beersheba, according to Israel Police.
The officer was directing traffic when he was hit by the vehicle, which fled the scene immediately. He was taken to Soroka Hospital for further medical treatment.
