Jerusalem man indicted for threatening to 'slaughter' wife and children

A man from the Shuafat refugee camp in eastern Jerusalem was indicted on suspicion of telling his wife and children that he would "slaughter them like sheep," Israel Police said Monday.

The man is additionally suspected of beating his wife and children and breaking things in their home.

In a separate incident, another resident of the Shuafat refugee camp was arrested on suspicion of beating his wife for not opening the door for him.
