Intelligence Minister Gila Gamliel was offered a job as Israle's consul general to New York on Wednesday, according to Israeli media reports.
Gamliel reportedly declined the offer outright but is yet to make a public statement addressing this.
The consul general to New York is a position that focuses on the relationship with American Jewry and is considered one of the most important in diplomatic service.
