The US announced its designation of three entities and two individuals as actors fundraising for Hamas, according to a statement on Wednesday from a State Department spokesperson.
"The United States continues to degrade terrorist financing networks, including by targeting actors fundraising for Hamas. Today, the United States is taking joint action with the United Kingdom by designating three entities: Gaza Now, Al-Qureshi Executives, and Aakhirah Limited; and two individuals: Mustafa Ayash and Aozma Sultana," the statement said.
"These targets include key financial facilitators involved in fundraising for Hamas," according to the statement. "Through close coordination with our allies and partners, we will continue to identify and disrupt these illicit networks."
