Ben-Aryeh at court: This isn't my trial, it's Liberman's

As he arrived at court Thursday morning to testify at the trial of former foriegn minister Avigdor Liberman, former ambassador to Belarus Ze’ev Ben- Aryeh responded to questions from the press by saying: "This is not my trial, it's someone's else."

Ben-Aryeh may be the key witness in the case, as he cut a plea bargain deal with the state in the underlying case against him that led to the spin-off case against Liberman.

Ben-Aryeh also told reporters that he had not read Liberman's comments about him in recently publicized protocols of his police interrogations.

The Justice Ministry recently confirmed that transcripts of the police interrogation of Liberman were filed with the courts, with reports surfacing of Liberman characterizing Ben-Aryeh as weak-minded and willing to tell his interrogators what they wanted to hear.
