China "strongly condemned" a series attacks in Paris that killed at least 120 and sent its condolences, state media reported on Saturday.
China's state broadcaster CCTV anchor cited Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei at its news bulletin that it resolutely supported France to "fight against terrorism".
"Regarding to (Paris shooting), Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said that China is very shocked over the massive casualties in the series terrorist attacks on November 13 night in Paris, France, and strongly condemns these terrorist attacks. China sends deep condolences to the people who were died and sends sincere condolences to the families of the death and the injured. Terrorism is the common challenge that human being is facing. China resolutely supports France to protect its security and stability in the country and supports its fighting against terrorism," CCTV anchor Geng Sa said.
