New peak in coronavirus cases in Gaza with 453 new cases in 24 hours

Some 453 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in the Gaza Strip on Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the outbreak to 10,985, according to Palestinian media.

Since March, 48 Palestinians in Gaza have died due to the virus.

Also on Monday, 371 new cases and seven deaths were reported among Palestinians in the West Bank.
