A couple in there 30s was arrested Friday for slashing the tires of a police officer stationed in the Haifa area and for other threatening actions perpetrated against the officer, who lives in Kiryat Yam.
The couple, from Nahariya, will be brought to Haifa's Magistrate's Court to have their remands set later in the day.
After their arrest, the two described the motivation for their acts as "hatred of the police."
