Court extends hit-and-run driver's remand by 5 days

The Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court extended the remand on Sunday of the driver who killed the just-married Kriaf couple last week by five days.The driver, a Jaffa resident, is charged with driving his truck into the couple, killing them, and then fleeing the scene.Hai-Ziv Kiraf, 24, and his wife Shani Kriaf, 22, from Kiryat Malachi had pulled over on Route 4 to the shoulder to replace a tire when they were hit and flung into the road, where they were immediately run over by a second truck.
