Deputy Minister Ayoub Kara plans trip to Jordan to finalize foreign worker deal

Likud Deputy Minister Ayoub Kara, the acting minister of the ministry of Regional Cooperation, plans on visiting Jordan soon in order to finalize a deal that would allow, in the first stage, 1,500 Jordanians  to work in Israel as day laborers.

The workers would mainly be employed in the Eilat area and would return home to Jordan every day after work, Kara’s office told The Jerusalem Post.

The goal is to improve the relations with Jordan. Asked when Kara’s visit would occur, his office said that not date has been set, but hopefully something would be done as soon as possible.
