Despite coronavirus, Independence Day to feature fireworks

Following discussions between police, the National Security Council and the Ministry of Health it was decided on Tuesday that during the evening of Israel’s Independence Day (April 29) the public will be able to enjoy a display of fireworks, Ynet reported.
The fireworks will be lit at 10:10 p.m., should members of the public gather in large groups to watch them, in violation of the Health Ministry’s coronavirus instructions, police will enforce them.
