Erdogan calls Iran sanctions a 'mistake'

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the UN Security Council's decision to impose sanctions on Iran a "mistake," reported Reuters.
Erdogan, in a speech to an Arab and Turkish ministerial forum, added that Turkey will continue to look for a solution to help remove concerns over Iran's nuclear program along with Brazil.
Turkey and Brazil were the only states among the Security Council's 15 members to vote against the sanctions.
Erdogan expressed concern at the danger of pushing Iran into a corner, stating, "Isolation is not the solution to Iran's problems."
