Future earthquake damage could reach $50 billion

The damage following a major natural disaster, such as an earthquake, to the Israeli economic could be between $25 billion to $50 billion, the National Economic Council and Finance Ministry said Tuesday.
The figure was given today at a Knesset meeting where the Treasury announced it's intention to establish a special forum to financially prepare for earthquakes.
