Gag order lifted: Suspect arrested in murder of Taibe school principal

A man who ran a snack bar at the Amal High School in Taibe is the main suspect in the August murder of the school's principal, it was revealed Sunday after a gag order on the case was lifted.
The principal, Yussuf Haj Yihya, was speaking to a group of teachers at a meeting in his office when the assailant walked in and shot him several times in the head and chest before fleeing on foot.
The 46-year-old suspect was arrested on the day of the murder, but the information was withheld under a court gag order.
The suspect allegedly killed Yihya  because he feared he wanted to bring in other contractors to compete with his snack bar.
The State Attorney's Office plans to issue an indictment against the suspect on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit a crime and obstruction  of justice.
