Gibbs: US warns Syria about Hizbullah missiles

WASHINGTON — The White House says it has raised concerns with Syria about reports that the Middle East nation is providing Hizbullah with Scud missiles that could hit any part of Israel.
Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Wednesday that the US had "relayed concerns" at the highest levels about weapons that could destabilize the region.
"We have an unbreakable bond with the Israeli people and in ensuring their security," Gibbs told reporters.
Israel this week accused Syria of giving Scud missiles to Hizbullah, the Iranian-backed Lebanese terrorist group.
