Gideon Sa'ar slams Olmert for comments at Jpost Conference

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar on Tuesday criticized former prime minister Ehud Olmert for what he said was an attack on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's policy on Iran.
At this week's Jerusalem Post Conference in New York, Olmert spoke out against Defense Minister Ehud Barak's claim that sanctions will not be effective against Tehran, saying that there is still time before military action would be needed. He also criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's comparisons of Iran to Nazi Germany, and for fighting with US President Barack Obama.
"After the current government's accomplishment of placing the Iranian issue on the forefront of the international community's agenda, Olmert is acting irresponsibly and is harming the Israeli national interest in an unprecedented manner, especially for a former prime minister," Sa'ar said.
