Haifa: 7 years in jail for man who killed 2 friends in crash

Almog Buchbut was sentenced to seven years in prison and given a suspended sentence of two more years by the Haifa District Court on Tuesday for the killing of his two friends who were in the car with him when he hit a safety rail over two years ago. His license was revoked for 20 years.
The accident investigation showed Buchbut had been driving above the speed limit, attempted to pass another car and lost control of the vehicle. Judge Moshe Gilad wrote that Buchbut's driving was "aggressive and reckless," and not for the first time.
