The Haifa District Attorney filed an indictment in the Haifa District Court on Monday, charging a 38-year-old Haifa man with raping a 17-year-old girl last month.
According to the indictment, Maher Hajj Mohammed grabbed the girl as she waited for a taxi, and dragged her to the bottom of the stairway leading to the city's Halisa neighborhood, where he threatened and then raped her.
