Bennett: A nation can't be an occupier in its own land

"A nation cannot be an occupier in its own land," Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett (Bayit Yehudi) said on Thursday following US President Barack Obama's speech at the Jerusalem International Convention Center where the American president called settlement construction "counterproductive."
"Obama's speech certainly came from a concern for Israel and from genuine friendship but the results of our previous retreat [the disengagement from the Gaza Strip] were experienced this morning in Sderot," Bennett said, referring to two rockets that landed in the southern city after a long period of relative ceasefire.
"A Palestinian state in not the right way," Bennett added.
