Health Ministry announces 60-year-old woman 8th victim of swine flu

A 60-year-old woman who died Wednesday in Rambam Hospital in Haifa may have been killed by complications related to the H1N1 swine flu virus, the Health Ministry said Thursday. The woman already suffered from several diseases and an infection, and the ministry said that while there was still no certainty as to the cause of her death, a connection to the swine flu virus could not be ruled out. The ministry therefore decided to announce her as the eighth Israeli victim of swine flu.
