Hebrew University awards honorary doctorate to Beinisch

The Hebrew University on Sunday announced it would be granting an honorary doctorate to Supreme Court President Justice Dorit Beinisch,
According to Hebrew University President, Prof. Menahem Ben-Sasson, the degree of Doctor Juris Honoris Causa was being conferred on Beinisch due to her active engagement in "reinforcing the moral and ethical standards of Israeli society and in the eradication of corruption among State and other ruling bodies" having "devoted her longtime energies to law enforcement, to enhancing the status of the law, and to defending human rights."
