Holyland state witness paid NIS 12K per month

The state witness in the Holyland corruption case is receiving a monthly sum of NIS 12,000 living allowance from the state, the Tel Aviv District Attorney confirmed on Tuesday.
The district attorney's office said that the witness - who testified in the trial throughout July and whose identity is protected by a strict gag order - is entitled to the living allowance under his agreement with the state, starting from the date that agreement was signed in February 2010 and for a maximum of eight years, which amounts to a total sum of NIS 1,152,000.
