IDF to allow 1,600 worshipers to enter Joseph's Tomb

In light of high demand, the IDF will allow at least 1,600 worshipers to arrive at Joseph's Tomb, near Nablus, the IDF spokesperson said Monday.

The announcement also said that at least 200 people had infiltrated the guard illegally to enter the tomb, which the IDF said needlessly put lives at risk. About 50 people occupied the tomb and clashed with security forces.

The IDF also said that it had received complaints from local Palestinians residents of vandalism that occurred overnight. The army said that damages to property will be investigated.
