Indonesia police deny report of plot to kill Obama

Indonesia's national police chief on Monday denied a report that Muslim terrorists plan to assassinate President Barack Obama if he visits the Southeast Asian country. Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri said a news report last week cited private intelligence analyst Dynno Chressbon of the Jakarta-based Center for Intelligence and National Security as saying snipers associated with the country's most wanted militant fugitive, Noordin Muhammad Top, plan to attempt to kill Obama. Danuri said police didn't have information about any such plot. "There's no one preparing bombs for the visit of the US president," Danuri said in a news conference.
