Iranian conservative: I do not recognize Ahmadinejad's presidency

One of the conservatives who ran for the Iranian elections, Mohsen Rezaei, said Tuesday that he participated in the official nomination of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for a second term "out of respect to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and not out of recognition for Ahmadinejad's presidency." Rezaei, a conservative, was previously commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Reformist candidates Mehdi Karroubi and Mir Hossein Mousavi did not participate in the ceremony.
