Jewish man stabbed in apparent robbery in Jerusalem

Two assailants stabbed and moderately wounded a man in Jerusalem on Friday night, Jerusalem District police said. 
Police described the victim as "a Jewish man around 50 years old", and said he was walking on Mapu street in the city, on the corner of King David street, when two suspects attacked him, stabbing him with pieces of glass and stealing his watch, police said.  
The man was taken in moderate condition to Shaarei Hatzedek hospital.
Police said not long after the attack, officers on patrol arrested two suspect carrying a watch that matched the victim's description. 
The incident is most likely criminal and not nationalist in nature, they added.
