Jordan's FM: Unilateral steps, especially in J'lem, thwart peace efforts

Jordan opposes unilateral steps taken by Israel which thwart efforts to renew peace talks with the Palestinians, the country's foreign minister, Nasser Judeh, was quoted by Israel Radio as saying on Saturday. Judeh reportedly stated that Israel's latest offers, possibly a reference to the 10-month moratorium on settlement construction, were not enough to negate the steps it was taking in Jerusalem. According to the report, Judeh spoke during a visit to Ramallah, where he was meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
