Knesset comptroller vote heads to third round

The Knesset vote for the state comptroller that will replace outgoing Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss went into its third round on Monday, after no candidate achieved the requisite 61 votes to win.
The run-off round will include only the top two candidates from the second round: Jerusalem District Court Judge Joseph Shapira - who received 59 votes in the second round - and Deputy Supreme Court President Eliezer Rivlin, who received 45 votes.
President of the Organization of Internal Auditors Shlomo Kalderon received 2 votes in the second round.
