Lake Kinneret rises 5 cm. over weekend

The level of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) rose five centimeters over the weekend and now stands 2.84 meters below the basin's upper red line.

Despite no significant rainfall during this past week, the lake will likely see a further rise when snow that fell earlier in the month in the Golan Heights continues to melt.
