Likud says Kadima encourage hardei draft-dodging

The Likud party on Sunday reacted to criticism by Kadima over the government's approval of a plan to increase enlistment of haredim into the IDF and National Service by saying " It was Kadima who perpetuated haredim not enlisting in the army, in an attempt to try and take power."

"Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, in a brave step, is the first to double the number [of haredim] joining the army, and did this in conjunction with the IDF. Whenever Kadima decides to whistle-blow from the opposition benches, it is Likud who actually operates," a Likud statement read.
