Livni urges Labor to join gov't to promote peace process

Tzipi Livni urged other factions on Saturday evening, particularly Labor, to join Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's government in order to help promote the peace process.

Speaking on Channel 2's Meet The Press, Livni said her joining the coalition would enable other parties that see the importance of the peace process to also join.

"I'm not calling on other politicians to take back election promises," Livni clarified, but added that if these politicians can promote important issues from within the government, they should join the coalition.
