Most hiking trails reopen for first time since Carmel blaze

For the first time since the Carmel blaze, the majority of the hiking trails in the area have reopened for tourists, reported Israel Radio on Saturday.
Thousands of tourists were expected to arrive Saturday at the nature reserves and national parks in the area.
The Nature and Parks Authority said that most of the trails have been rehabilitated from fire damage, and the park has already started to bloom following rain showers in the country two weeks ago.
