Negev: 5 suspected 'major' drugs dealers arrested in raid

An undercover agent led police to arrest five suspected "major" drug dealers in the Negev area, police announced on Sunday.

The agent, of the Negev central police's central unit, gathered evidence against at least seven suspects "who are according to suspicion in the top tier of the drug smuggling area," police added.

Officers raided the homes of the suspects and made arrests early on Sunday morning.

Ten thousand shekels in cash and vehicles were also seized. Police said more suspects will be arrested in the investigation.
