Netanyahu mourns loss of 'courageous 16-year-old stabbed at Jerusalem gay pride parade

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent his condolences to the family of Shira Banki, the 16-year-old girl  who died Sunday after she had been stabbed in Thursday's attack on the Jerusalem gay pride parade.
"Shira was murdered for courageously supporting the principle that each and every person has the right to live their life in security and respect," Netanyahu stated.
"We will not allow this loathsome murderer to undermine the basic values upon which the Israeli society is based. We staunchly condemn this attempt to sew the seeds of hatred and violence among us and will act to bring the murderer to justice," he added.
