Not just cottage cheese, boycott takes on yogurt, pudding

Organizers of the boycott against cottage and white cheeses over high prices declared Wednesday that they would begin including other dairy products that lack government price control or supervision. Activists, who spread the initiative on Facebook, said that they would extend the boycott to include yogurt products and dairy deserts such as pudding.

They also called on participants to buy a supervised yellow cheese available only by weight in supermarkets.

Boycott organizers have threatened that without progress, their protest would extend into other foodstuffs that lack proper government supervision and, according to them, are flagrantly priced in comparison to other western nations.
