Paz-Pines: Building of hundreds of new W. Bank units annuls freeze

MK Ophir Paz-Pines (Labor) on Friday slammed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's plan to approve the construction of hundreds of new West Bank housing units before considering a settlement freeze of a few months. "The plan to approve the building of hundreds of units effectively annuls the freeze," he said in a statement. "This is about two moves that cancel out one another, and it shows that Netanyahu is trying to eat the cake and leave it whole. He should just be careful that it doesn't get stuck in his throat."
