Pilot forces El Al to cancel two flights

El Al said on Monday night that it had been forced to cancel two flights making up a round trip between Israel and Leningrad, when one of its pilots refused to pilot the plane.
El Al said that the pilot, Nir Zok, acted on his own, without approval of either El Al's management, El Al's workers' representatives or Histadrut labor federation chief Ofer Eini.
140 passengers who intended to fly at 6:165 p.m. to Leningrad and 132 passengers who intended to fly from Leningard to Israel missed their flights.
El Al said it would act forcefully to address and solve the problems which led to this incident.
