PM says cyber defense key in strengthening the state

Speaking during Wednesday's special Knesset plenum, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that the development of cyber defense systems was integral in strengthening Israeli deterrence against potential threats.

Netanyahu said that Israel should be in the top five countries worldwide in cyber defense, and not lower. He reiterated: "Israel cannot be any lower than number five."

Netanyahu said this was the most important development for Israel at the present time.
