Border Police working in the Cave of the Patriarchs arrested a Palestinian suspect who tried to enter the cave with a knife, Maariv reported Saturday night.
An 18-year-old resident of Hebron arrived at one of the checkpoints, and upon searching him, Border Police soldiers found that he was carrying a knife.
The suspect was taken in for questioning by security forces.
