Police continue to search for two men suspected of carrying out an armed home invasion robbery in Tel Aviv on Tuesday.
Tel Aviv Police said the two men appeared at an apartment on Emile Zola Street in the north central area of the city, disguised as flower deliverymen.
When the tenant opened the door, the two men burst in and while one of them threatened the resident with a pistol, the other stole a bag containing hundreds of thousands of shekels.
The tenant was not hurt in the robbery, and the two assailants managed to flee the scene on a motorcycle. Police said the tenant is not known to the police and possessed the large amount of money in cash most likely because he was part of a family of tourists visiting Israel.
