Powell: Trump can't fire me

The Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jeremy Powell, told 60 Minutes that President Donald Trump cannot fire him and that he intends to finish his full, four-year term.
In the 60 Minutes interview, Powell was largely positive about the US economy, saying that, compared to the economy during the 2008 recession, "our system is vastly more resilient."
Concerning whether interest rates would rise, Powell said that, at the moment, they're in no hurry to change the current interest rate policy.
