Prosecutors to close sex crimes investigation against TV personality Rosen

Israeli prosecutors resolved late Sunday to overrule police investigators and close the sexual harassment probe against national media personality Emmanuel Rosen, Israel Radio reported.

Police had recommended indicting Rosen on two counts of sexual harassment. Rosen, the veteran newspaper columnist and television news commentator, has been accused by a number of former female colleagues of numerous sex-related offenses.

Prosecutors told Israel Radio that the police had failed to gather evidence indicating that Rosen’s behavior warranted criminal charges. The recommendation to close the investigation against Rosen is subject to final approval by State Attorney Moshe Lador.
