Public buildings to get water saving devices – in 4 months

The Knesset Economic Affairs Committee approved the guidelines for installing water saving devices on faucets in public buildings on Wednesday.
The regulations were approved seven months later than specified by the law which was proposed by MKs Dov Henin, Yohanan Plessner, Nitzan Horowitz, and Ofir Akunis, the committee's chair, with assistance from the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel. Akunis called the delay "catastrophic."
The law now has to be implemented within the next four months.
