Quartet to meet Israelis, Palestinians separately

WASHINGTON - The so-called Quartet of Middle East envoys will meet separately with Israeli and Palestinian officials in Jerusalem on Oct. 26 to try to lay the ground for fresh Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, US State Department spokesman Mark Toner said on Monday.
The Quartet is comprised of the European Union, Russia, the United Nations and the United States.
