Ra'anana post office bomb scare proves to be false alarm

Police sappers were called to a post office in Ra'anana on Tuesday after a man reported receiving a package that raised his suspicion. The man also told police that he hadn’t been expecting any mail.
Shortly after they arrived, the bomb squad determined the package contained no explosives and was not a threat, but called on the public to continue to exercise caution.
Tuesday’s letter bomb scare came after police ceased all mail delivery for one day Monday after a woman received a package believed to be a letter bomb at a post office in Migdal Ha'emek.
A strict gag order has been placed on the incident, and police said Monday they were not certain if the incident was criminal or terrorist in nature.
