Railways suspends use of cars similar to those in fire

Israel Railways announced it will suspend the use of all cars similar to the ones in which a fire broke out earlier this week due to fear of a technical failure in these models, reported Army Radio on Thursday.
The announcement came after the ruling by the special inquiry committee, appointed by Israel Railways CEO Yitzhak Israel, which concluded that the fire was not caused by a short circuit, but probably by another mechanical malfunction.
