Rare ova-removal death to be investigated by ministry

The Health Ministry is looking into the tragic death of a 35-year-old Givatayim woman who died Monday soon after her ripened ova were removed to undergo in-vitro fertilization.
The woman died at Sheba Medical Center where she was taken after feeling unwell; the ova removal had been performed Friday with no seeming complications at the private Assuta Medical Center in Rishon Lezion. The ministry said Wednesday that it had appointed an investigation committee to look into the rare death.
