Report: Brotherhood to seek Golan deal after Assad falls

After Syrian President Bashar Assad is removed from power, the Muslim Brotherhood will seek a political settlement with Israel over the Golan Heights, Syria's Muslim Brotherhood spokesman Zuhair Salem said Friday in an interview with Nazareth-based newspaper A-Sinara.
Salem said that they "will not relinquish the Golan Heights", although there is a new demographic reality that requires rational political thinking.
He said that any future agreement between Syria and Israel will be approved by the parliament in Damascus.
