Report: Iranian authorities detain 5 more Baha'i

TEHRAN, Iran — Iranian authorities have detained five more members of Baha'i minority, hardline Iranian newspaper Javan reported Sunday.
The report by the daily newspaper, which has ties to the elite Revolutionary Guards, reported that the five included Niki Khanjani is daughter of Jamaleddin Khanjani, one of seven Baha'i leaders jailed since 2008.
In January, Iran put the seven on trial on charges of spying and acting against national security.
Since 1979 when Islamic clerics came to power, Iran has banned the Baha'i faith, founded in the 1860s by Baha'u'llah, a Persian nobleman considered a prophet by the Baha'is.
