Report: Mexican police may have found missing girl's body

The remains of an Israeli tourist who went missing in 2007 in Mexico may have been uncovered by police there, Channel 10 news reported Thursday. Police authorities in Tulum, Mexico, made the announcement Wednesday that they may have uncovered her body during a confidential investigation at the beach adjacent to the restaurant where 26-year-old Dana Rishpi was last seen.
The investigation at the beach began after police arrested an alleged rapist known to authorities as Neto, Channel 10 said. The detainee provided police with leads on the missing girl.
"Intelligence work has finished," police reportedly said. "We're not giving any more details now; we don't want to interfere with continuing investigations."
